These are outdoor enclosed bulletin boards which means that they have been specially made to withstand the elements better than our regular enclosed bulletin boards that you would use indoors. Our outdoor enclosed bulletin boards come with a tan colored natural cork tack surface that will last for years.
Outdoor bulletin boards have a backing made of aluminum attached to the back of the unit with silicone type sealant to keep out moisture and for added weather resistance making this the perfect outdoor message center.
The doors on these outdoor enclosed bulletin boards and message centers all have locks to keep your messages safe. The doors are attached with piano hinges that run the full height of the unit for extra strength and endurance. The doors are equipped with acrylic windows which are shatter resistant and will clearly allow you to see messages securely and safely.

* Note: If you use the optional lawn mounting kit, UV-1309SP, the exterior depth of the cabinet will change from 2" to 3 1/8" to accommodate the 2" x 2" aluminum mounting post. Also, using the UV-1309SP will make all units ship in 15 working days. There are no Quick Ship models when you use the lawn mounting post because they have to be modified to fit the mounting post.
The regular outdoor bulletin board case dimensions are as follows when purchasing a stock wall mounted unit: 1" master frame, 1-7/16" door frame, 2" exterior depth (front to back) and a 5/8" interior depth from the inside of the glass to the tack surface.
Our outdoor bulletin boards come with a really high-quality, cork tack surface but you can customize the interior of your unit with a colored vinyl tack surface. This really makes the unit stand out nicely and we use a high quality vinyl fabric which resist moisture, mold and mildew. The cost to order your outdoor enclosed bulletin boards with a colored vinyl tack surface is approximately a 15% up-charge over the natural tan cork. The vinyl tack surfaced bulletin boards will ship in about 3 weeks from the factory and each unit is considered a custom unit so it would not be returnable. The outdoor vinyl colors available are Black Licorice, Barcelona Blue, Grey, Burgundy and Hunter Green. (Sample color swatches are always available for review before you purchase.)
*Q.S: There is about a 2.5-3 week lead-time for the natural tan cork tack surface enclosed bulletin boards and lead-times may be a little longer during the busy summer months. However we do offer stock numbers UV-401 & UV-402 as *quick ship sizes which means that they will ship out from the factory in about 2-3 working days. You still have to add the transit time to your location. The larger stock# UV-404 will ship in about 5-7 working days from the factory.Please remember that if you order the UV-1309SP lawn mount kits that your order will ship in 12-15 working days and Not Quick Ship.
