Secure Fit: The pre-drilled holes are intentionally smaller than the screws, allowing the screws to self-thread through the aluminum for a sturdier installation.

Details
The Atlas® marker tray kit is the finest heavy duty aluminum marker tray, featuring rounded angled corners that come with a complete, contemporary looking installation kit. It is available in two lengths of 18" and 36" long. The marker tray is a heavy gauge satin anodized aluminum marker shelf that mounts securely with the included mounting hardware. The clever mounting hardware includes a matching gray cap that neatly conceals the mounting screw to add a really nice contemporary look and feel. The 18" and 36" Atlas® trays come with two pre-drilled installation holes and include stainless steel mounting screws, plastic mounting washers, and plastic screw caps. An extra set of mounting hardware is included with the 36" units if a third mount is required. The Atlas® marker trays come with pre-drilled holes that are intentionally slightly smaller than the provided screws; the steel screws will self-thread through the softer aluminum, resulting in a sturdier installation that is easy to do even with hand tools.

Thank you for your question! The depth of the tray is 2-1/4’’ deep, front lip to flat back.
This kit comes with hardware to wall mount.
