The OptiMA® Hour by Hour Production Board shows, hour by hour, whether a line is on pace. Operators record planned versus actual output each hour and note the reason for any miss, so supervisors can see problems the same shift they happen instead of at the end of the day. How to use it

Before the shift starts, fill in the planned output for each hour. At the end of every hour, write the actual output and the running total next to the plan. When an hour falls short, note the reason, such as downtime, material or quality, so it can be acted on right away. Bring the recurring misses to your daily huddle on our SQDC Daily Management Board.

Magnetic or non-magnetic whiteboard? Magnetic whiteboard (36" x 24" or 32" x 45.5"): a magnetic receptive, gloss dry erase surface over 1/4" MDF with a Mylar backing, so you can use magnets to mark status.
