Our horizontal sliding boards have a full-length back panel. You can custom order open back units used to cover storage areas or electronic copy boards. Call for Details.
The full length back panel is laminated onto 7/16" particle board and the sliding panels are mounted onto 1/2" fiberboard with a .015 aluminum backing sheet that keeps panels rigid and flat.
Panels slide easily on nylon rollers mounted at the top of the panel and nylon glides at the bottom edge.
All writing surfaces are porcelain steel and magnetic receptive. Panels can be white dry erase, green or black chalkboard or colored forbo cork tack surfaces.
Each horizontal slider ships standard with a 2" factory mounted map rails and each unit has a full-length 2 1/2" deep blade chalk/marker tray.
Select either 2 or 3 tracks for additional sliding panels.
Two track units are on 1 1/2" x 3" deep outer frames and the tray extends an additional 2 1/2" making a total depth of 5 1/2".
Three track units are on 1 1/2" x 5" deep outer frames and the tray extends an additional 2 1/2" making a total depth of 7 1/2".
Note that the sliding panels are shipped separately from the unit in a crate that can weigh up to 150-175 pounds. The back panels are shipped in a separate crate that can weigh upwards to 300-350 pounds. Please be aware of these factors when ordering and planning on receiving these units. Lift gate delivery trucks are really of no assistance on boards over 10' or 12' in length.
If your order comes to you by truck you have to open and inspect your order regardless of what the outside of the carton may look like. Large objects like these can be damaged during transit and it is your responsibility to inspect your shipment on arrival. We will replace any damaged product free of charge if it is signed for as damaged upon arrival.
*If your order must ship by truck we have a shipping fee of $100.00 within the continental U.S. to your loading docks or curb side. If your board order is over $850 then you will only be charged a flat fee of $45. There is a service charge of $35.00 for "Call Ahead" service. Custom orders and graphics orders are not included in our free shipping program.
