Magnetic music staff lap boards. We designed these music staff lap boards with musician composer in mind.
There are five sets of music stave on each board and each set is .9" tall. There is a space of .9" in between each stave and a border of .99" at the top and bottom of the board. The individual music lines are 1/32" thick.
Each of our music staff lap boards is covered with our exclusive Opti-Rite® clear dry erase materials for years of ghost free, trouble free erasing.
Each unit comes with a clip on black dry erase marker with a felt eraser, magnetic tip. Note that the best thing to clean your board with is a soft cloth like a face cloth.
These boards were developed with the help of musician composer Phil Hinton of Pompano Beach, FL.
Here's what Phil had to say about our boards; "If you use music notation software as I do, you probably use a white board for figuring things out rather than wasting paper or trying to constantly manipulate the computer. The pain in the butt has been constantly drawing in the staff lines.
I have been onto a white board manufacturing company who, after some brief discussions, have come up with a 11" x 17" (Landscape) laptop white board with staff lines permanently printed on. They have got the lines and the spacing as close to standard manuscript sizing as their manufacturing process will permit and it is pretty darn close. It's perfect for use with a fine point dry erase marker and is an incredibly useful tool to have to compliment the software.
