Questions and Answers about this product

10 Questions &  10Answers

Kailey from Agoura Hills, CA asked:

Q
Between the wallpaper, the primer, and the adhesive, what is the state this product leaves the wall when it is removed?
Answer
Hello Kailey,

The easiest thing to equate this to is hanging wallpaper. Typically after taking down wallpaper, some amount of wall resurfacing and painting is normally required.

That said, the primer is meant to work in conjunction with the adhesive to create a strong bond but also to make the adhesive strippable. This means that the adhesive is meant to break from the primer surface when removed.

Leah from des moines ia asked:

Q

Do you have a specific marker that should be used to avoid ghosting?

How long can you leave notes on the Opit-Rite without ghosting?

Answer
Good Morning Leah,

Opti-Rite dry erase wallcoverings will accept any type / brand of dry erase marker.

We recommend erasing / cleaning with a soft or microfiber cloth. The cloth will help polish the surface and prevent staining or ghosting.

The writing can be left on the surface for days, sometimes weeks and wipe off with a soft cloth. In some cases, you might need isopropyl alcohol to clean the writing off that's been left there for a longer time.
