Hi Cerise, thank you for your interest.  It is magnetic and magnets will stick to it as well.  In fact, we even include a magnetic clip to hold the included marker.  You will see an image of these items on the main magnetic dry erase page.  if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to let us know!
