While ceramic steel is the pinnacle of dry erase surfaces, a matte board will always require more effort to erase than a high-gloss board. But the decrease in erasability is a small compromise to engage your students via projected media. If this is a concern, whiteboard cleaner will ensure your dry erase writing will glide right off with ease. But beyond a marginal increase in elbow grease and some whiteboard cleaner, this board is still backed by a 50 year surface warranty. And so long as it's cared for properly, the surface will remain spotless.
